Hi,
I got myself a TV card, with the idea of capturing the Simpsons and saving it to CD. I figure I can get about 3 episodes to a CD, at the quality I like, but I also need to make smaller copies of these things, because I have some friends who are bugging me to get them copies, not to save, just so they can watch them a few times, and eventually just delete them. I was looking at some episodes I downloaded off IRC, and was trying to figure out how they were so small (~25 megs or so an episode) and realized that they were encoded at 10 frames/second. And my question is, I know NTSC is 29.97, but do cartoons actually have that many animated frames in them? I mean, do the animators actually draw out 30 frames per second?
Please help.
I did not find the right solution from the Internet.
